We have babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is a little late, but man the last 2 1/2 weeks are a blur :-)

I went in for my 36 week checkup on Thursday, January 8th. I was scheduled for a c-section at 37 weeks, Tuesday, January 13th and we were just seeing how things were progressing. The twins had both dropped a little and one of the cords were pressed between their heads. It was not a major problem, but the dr didn't want me to go into labor on my own over the weekend and have it become a problem. So as I am on the ultrasound table she said she wanted to move up the c-section, and I'm thinking a day or two from then. This was at 4:50 pm, and she said nope it'll be tonight or in the morning, she just had to call the hospital and make sure they were staffed for twins that night. My mom was with me and Scott was still at work. I had to make some calls and tell everyone to get ready we were having babies! I got to the hospital around 5:30 and had them at 7:49 & 7:51 that night. I'm glad in a way that it happened so fast, I didn't have much time to think about it or get nervous. The c-section went great and the recovery has been good as well. We left the hospital that Saturday afternoon and we were home that night at 4:00 pm.
